Natural Resources for Pondok Penyayang Raudah

Natural Resources for Pondok Penyayang Raudah

Last Friday, 18th Dec 2009 was a very meaningful day where love is felt all over in Pondok Penyayang Raudah. The water tanks and pipes were successfully laid and installed - 250 m from hill top through stream and forest down to the houses.

This is the place where our mission "possible" to be

Many thanks to UM students and young engineers who are willing to spend time on this project. Following are some snapshots:

the magical pipe that transfers water from hill top to the destination

It's not an easy job since it's very long, thick and heavy

Pipe is not the only equipment we need, there are another 2 tanks to install...BIG ONE

The tank is not so heavy after all

Take a break, cheese...we got job to do...go go go!

Finally, we're standing in the eyes of hilltop with Tank to store water

Pipe is important as a connector, YES, we're getting closer to the destination

The skillful engineer is doing the pipework

Group photo of the crews today. Mission Accomplished~

ANOTHER COMMUNITY PROJECT BY IEM G&S YES

Another Community Project Rolling OUT
(Calling for all engineers!!)

IEM G&S YES under Community Portfolio would like to invite you to a project “Channeling a water resources to Pondok Penyayang Raudah”.

Date: 18 December 2009 (Friday) - public holiday.
Venue: Pondok Penyayang Raudah , Gombak
Time: 8.00am - 12.30pm

Pondok Penyayang Raudah is an orpahnage house for about 80 children aged 1 to 18 years old.

Under this project, young engineers will help Pondok Penyayang Raudah to have their alternative water resource. They will provide a HDPE pipe, water tank, and others piping and joint equipment to channel a water from a waterfall within the Pondok Penyayang RAUDAH area to the house.

From natural Resources which is about 700m from orphanage

Engineers provide piping works

Pictures of Volunteers who Contributed came out in an article

The waterfall is around 700m from te orphanage house. The Young Engineers will connect a pipe from the waterfall to a tank to collect water. 4 lanes of piping anf tank have been planned in this project.

Let the children smile for a better water supply. As for the existing water supply is very slow since the house is in hilly area.

It's the chance to show them WE LOVE, WE CARE...
