Highway & Transportation Engineering Technical Division had been planning for a visit to new KTM depot at Batu Gajah, Perak since 2007.
At that time the project had just started and the host was not ready to entertain any technical visit. After waiting for more than 2 years, at last
the host is ready to receive visitors during the weekdays. It is our pleasure to invite participants from both members and non-members to
join us for a technical visit to the following project:- Design, construction, completion, testing, commissioning and maintenance of the railway
redevelopment at Batu Gajah, Perak – Workshop & Depot. Topics of interest will include amongst others briefing on the overall development of
the depot and KTMB railway planning throughout the country.
