This program guided the participants to takeresponsibility for their future by the choices theymake and the goals they set. The programbegan by preparing the participants to be aware oftheir potential and to appreciate life as it is. Byrealizing this, participants were ready to makemassive shifts towards personal excellence. At the endof the section, participants learned to clarify theirgoals to make them more practical and achievable.

13th January 2006 Talk on Energy Efficient & Sustainable Energy Usage in Urban Households & Residential Building














A jointly organized activity with the Electrical Engineering Technical Division which saw a record participation of almost 140 IEM members.

This talk aims to provide an overview on energy efficiency and sustainable usage in urban household and residential buildings. The Demonstration and Documentation Centre (DDC), a typical double-storey link-house in SS2, Petaling Jaya, is part of a project funded by the Danish International Development Assistance (DANIDA) and serves to promote sustainable energy usage and lifestyle and encourage household energy audits.

Engineering Game 2005 - 15 & 16 December 2005




The Engineering Sport Carnival and Engineering Games is an annual programme. IIUM had been choosing by Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) to be a host for the year of 2005.
The Engineering Games was organized by ENGINUS XI in collaboration of IEM.

We begin the program with Engineering Sport Carnival which held on 12th December 2005 until 15th December 2005 and continue with the Engineering Games which start on 16th December 2005.

The participants for Engineering Sport Complex are among students of International Islamic University Malaysia. These students play the games for their department. There are seven departments involve in Engineering Sport Carnival. They are; Mechatronic department (MCTSA), Mechanical department (MECSA), Manufacturing and Material department(MMESA), Electrical Computer Engineering department (ECESA), Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering department(BESTA), First Year department and last but not least from Staff department.

Meanwhile, the participants for Engineering Games are among the engineering students form variety universities and engineers who play for their society or company. The universities involve are University Malaya (UM), University Putra Malaysia (UPM), Multimedia University Malacca (MMU), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) and last but not least SELESTRA. All the games were played in league.
